I began to develop an interest in film and focused on creating cinematic pieces, using angles, color, and framing to tell stories through my work. I’ve always noticed shape and color in my life and this is exemplified through my photography. I identify as being part of the Latino community, and I’ve lived in Chicago my whole life; this city has served as a primary source of inspiration through my time doing photography. My experience throughout the years has allowed me to create this sort of marriage with past work, allowing me to learn and develop my own style of photography that I can proudly call my own. I want to tell stories that an audience can relate to, interpret in their way, and have a piece of art to share.
